POPADS UNETHICAL BEHAVIOUR. hello everybody, I believe in JUSTICE and also in ethical business, this is why I am going to paste here the content of a new thread I posted in legal issues for a problem I am having with Popads.net, they took my money, 50 USD, and also deleted my account without ANY reason. So, I want my money back and also I want to tell this story to the whole world of advertisers community, and also to publishers, because publishers need to know how new advertisers are treated by this company. If everybody would care more for JUSTICE, this world would be much better.

I hope Tomasz will understand that this is not acceptable, open a new account for me and PUT MY MONEY THERE.

So, he realised that I still had little or no history on Propellerads and told me that without references I could not join from Brazil!

I wrote them many times, I sent them all my details, I begged for being approved, I sent examples of the products I wanted to promote, and I never had a "normal" reply from them, Tomasz was always saying that my words would make no difference for him, because meny times from Brazil he received fake documents and apparentely had problems.

I told him I could send italian passport and more details, I told them I own a website, well known website in Brazil, I offered them to upload a file on my site in lrder to prove that I was the owner. Nothing worked. I was ignored or their replies were always the same.

So, when I traveled to Italy, after many weeks of trying to br accepted in popads.net, I tried to open another account as an italian, since I AM ITALIAN, and I managed to make a deposit of 50 USD with my paypal cresit card.

The next day, my new account was DELETED and my money had disappeared. I wrote them about this issue and they keep replying to me that this was due to the fact that i violated their policies running campaigns that did not meet their policies. BUT I HAVE NEVER BEEN APPROVED AND I NEVER ADVERTISED ANYTHING ON POPADS, so I could NOT have ran some campaigns and violated any policy, because I never managed to get approved, even if I own a legal media company.

I opened a dispute in Paypal, they dis not reply. I tried to contact Tomasz and nothing.

I paid 50 USD, my account has been deleted and I spent months trying to get approved. I wanna leave here my testi onial in order to tell my story to the public.

I am good guy, very ethical, never had any problem with any website or ad network. I got really stressed and depressed with this situation and I would like to have some help from you. What can I do? Can I talk to an attorney and can he force popads to accept me? I just want to do ethical business and I think that stealing my 50 USD is something much worse than anything I could have done to them. and I didnt do anything bad to them, I told ma y times to them that I was their big fan, because i love popad advertising, I only wanted to be part of it,

I think their behaviour is UNACCEPTABLE and unethical. P,ease Tell me what I can do.

I can provide the list of all email conversations I had with them.

one more thing, I could easily ask a friend to open an account for me, I have friends all over the world, but I prefered being honest and telling here the truth! I only opened an italian account because this was allowd by them and I AM italian, and I did this because they were ignoring me. So no cheating here! Just the tryth.

 

Start with reading our terms and conditions. We do not allow multiaccount and you have 3 accounts already.
Also, you attempted to bypass country restrictions.

 

well, I am sorry for that, i have three accounts because, one was old and i didnt know and remember it, the second is the one i tried to use, the last was the italian one wich should be separate. AND I TOLD YOU ABOUT MY ACCOUNTS, IDISNT HIDE IT, I TOLD IT TO YOUR SUPPORT. So, no way, sorry for tos break, it was UNINTENTIONAL. anyway, I hope you will be kind enough to open an account for me and I will stop writing posts and delete all this, in peace. And if i ever break TOS you can ban me forever, but this will NOT HAPPEN. Peace, please.

 

And dont pretend to be right, Tomasz, because you KNOW that I did not do anything wrong with your popads comoany! So just lets close this in peace, ok? Can you PLEASE open an account for me? And sorry for unintentional TOS BREAK.

Anyway, if this is the way you treat your customers, I really dont want to be part of your company business anymore. Dude you're behaving like a child, it is HIS PRIVATE company, he can decide who to let in, it is not up to you to decide that.

 

lol, I have been pissed off, and he took my money, and if i hadnt opened a dispute in paypal, I would not see it anymore. Why didnt he just refuse the payment? Anyway, this story is over for me, I have been pissed off, and I wanted to tell this story, that's it. Anyway, even if its his company, this does not give him the right to be rude with new customers.

 

Why you still paid even AFTER he already refused and ignored you in the first place? I've read your thread, and not trying to defend Popads but I just don't understand your logic there mate. Why?? Oh I know, so you can post in DP and whining about all of this? Is that worth $50? But why?

Which part of "No" that you don't understand? I'll lose my mind too if you are continuously trying to enter my house after I said NO.

 

Our system BLOCKED deposits for you on the first TWO accounts you have opened. I also told you via email that we do not accept payments from Brazil.
I really think we did everything we could to refuse your payment and it is not my fault that you decided to register from another country to bypass the restriction.

You broke his TOS. I'd take your money without a word of response, most networks do that.

 

Hello,

Some users are complaining that they are getting an ad which tells them that their mobile is infected with a virus when they visit my site...

They feel really insecure regarding this...

Also instead of popups.. They are sometimes getting redirected to another site which is also annoying for them.. PopUps are Okay but redirects are just way too annoying for them...

I have received a lot of complains regarding this.. If this both issues are not solved, i would have to remove the ads fully from the site and look for an alternative...

He will get his money back, however as he opened PayPal dispute it will happen within the timeframe specified in PayPal ToS.

Regarding virus ads - yes, these are unfortunately quite popular for mobiles. They do not install any malware and just try to make visitor to install some app.
Scary and ugly - yes. However as most of ads are like that, we allow them.
Regarding redirections - it is not really possible, we have special code that prevents redirections in case our advertiser tries to redirect.

Also, I have some news:
- Issues with anti-adblock adcode related to popunder on Chrome have been fixed.
- Issues with anti-adblock adcode related to Avast false positive on .swf file have been fixed.
- Issues with anti-adblock adcode related to configuration variables like delayBetween have been fixed.

 

this sounds like a pro scam , but i believe you since i got my withdraw blocked unfair ofc

then when contact support he said " Withdrawals denied due to anomaly "
i don't have sites for anomalies
and all my content from youtube videos
i think youtube deleted all anomalies
youtube have tools to delete any thing illegal
