    An option that we have deployed is listing on Yahoo search engine ( $ = 0 ) and not on Yahoo directory ( $$$ ).

    You can list on Yahoo search engine via Bing Webmaster Tools account.

    Yahoo search engine uses the same data base as Bing.

    Step 2 : Go bottom of site and search "Try Local Basic Listing for free"

    and here you submit your business detail free on yahoo Business

    No it is not , it is very costly and for me not worth of spending this amount of money to get a backlink even if it is from such source. I would rather be paying this much to get a listing on dmoz.
