Why is it always the dumbest threads that get the most posts?

I have noticed that you're more likely to get a lot of responses if you post some dumb, unrealistic comment, either about how much you made, or some super general question like "how does I gets more traffic?", then if you try to incite a logical and realistic discussion.

    Examples:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=127902
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=189811
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=158688
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=30127
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=104136

I think this is a great forum, but I think it would be even better if the garbage and the "supernoobs" were controlled.

I'm only been following the SEO biz for 3 months and I feel like an expert compared to some of the people who stumble in here. I mean, it's like their first day on the internet.

This is just a suggestion, but I think the useless threads should be locked early and the ubernoobs should herded to a "noob section" of the forum where all the "HOw doES I geTs riCHes?" posts can go.
