What is the secret of your success?

There are many accomplished Google AdSense publishers here. What is the secret of their success?

Hehe, I would prefer a little more. The check is sent a little later than that and I also need to spend it before I am turned into a stone .

Do you have an AdSense account in your wife's name too? Then you can double it!

 

Thats a stupid comment. A. Google will find both accounts and possible ban both of them since you can only have one account.

And you still earn the same amount since its the same code and same number of clicks.

I agree about the double payment part, I was stupid there.

 

My secrets is build unique website. No competition and you don't have to work to get a traffics. Word of mouth marketing will do it for you.

 

Finally! Someone came out with a secret or tips. That took like what, 10 posts before we get the purpose of this thread's topic? HEHE

 

unfortunately, its not a 1 million dollar tips. But I can guarantee that tips will work with everyone.

 

I'm not as successful as a lot of people out there, but I pull in a high 4 figure income from Adsense every month.

My key to the success I've had so far is top quality content. Most of that content is based on things you buy or do offline. There's no fluff like a lot of the stuff you see in some article directories, there's no scraped content.

Another factor is SEO. Most of my pages rank fairly high in the SERPS for 2, 3, 4+ word terms that don't get a lot of searches per month, but I have so many pages that it adds up.

I read about and test different ad unit optimization techniques and optimize based on the results, etc. I've seen huge increases in CTR and ECPM as a result.

But the most important thing IMO is the content you publish. It it's A1 you get A1 visitors from search engines, A1 links from A1 sites, A1 adsense ads showing up on your pages and A1 earnings as a result.

Oh, and another major contributing factor is Coffee. If it weren't for that, I'd probably be flippin' burgers right now ;-)

Nice post Kokaroach! But I have to disagree with you, 4-figure income is very successful to my standard. Unless you're shooting for $1 million

 

Here's my secret. Read everything about Adsense. Test everything live.

 

I suggest you go to the Adsense forum and read about 40-50 threads there and come back and report on them. You learn a great deal. There really is a wealth (literally) of information there.

 

Here is the big secret... work hard. There is no easy way. The key to making assloads of money is not to have expenses (of course). Learn linux, php, bind, apache, mysql and probably a few hax0rific scripting langs like bash/python/perl. Its going to take TONS of dedication. This shit doesnt happen overnight. You can always hire a team of people to do this for you but then so much for your profit margin.

Once you have those down then make a site for a service that is needed. Code tools or services to make peoples life easier. Do not make sites for money just make them because its what your into. If people come and find them useful money will follow.

This in my opinion is what it takes to make high 4 to 5 figures a day from contextual advertising.
