Feature Upgraded To XenForo 1.2...

If you haven't noticed, the site is a little different because we upgraded to XenForo 1.2...

If you notice anything broken or just weird, please post to this thread and let me know.

A few differences to note for end users.

    • The editor is based on Redactor instead of TinyMCE (the old XF editor was one of the worst things about it IMO). You can do things like drag and drop images (or even copy/paste images straight into posts if your browser supports it). It retains formatting properly (like tabs when posting code) and doesn't add a bunch of extra garbage formatting. It also auto-saves drafts for you.
    • Mobile/Responsive design... make your browser window smaller (like on a tablet or mobile phone, and the layout changes to suit in realtime).
    • Watched forums improvements... you can be notified if you want for individual posts in a forum now. https://forums.digitalpoint.com/watched/forums
    • Inline management of conversations (for example if you wanted to leave a bunch of conversations at once).
    • Ability to flag conversations as important (starring).
    • User tagging... Type the @ sign in a message and start typing a username. A user will be alerted that they have been mentioned in a post (unless they don't want to be alerted, you can disable that under your alert preferences).
    • Pretty much everything under the "Members" tab up top is new.

In addition, there's a few things custom just to Digital Point I rolled out at the same time... for example when you scroll down a page, the navigation tabs, alerts, inbox, search box etc. will stay at the top for you.

Great update. Just one thing, is there a new process to follow in order to become established?

Congratulation to be the first to comment and 'taste' the new interface. :D
@digitalpoint : I like the new Drag and drop features and 'User Tagging'. :D

Edit: Tagging work as expected. :D

@digitalpoint: It looks better to read the long thread and conversation titles in one line. I also love the conversation flags. Nice improvement.

The header ad blocks the login/register link (in the header) on mobile devices when viewing the forum as a guest. Switching to landscape mode fixes the problem, btw.

I think he means the user profile box ( the one displaying messages/likes/best answers and throphy points). I've noticed that too but it doesn't really bother me.

Is there any special reason why did you decide to make this changes?? As I see there are only small changes that you named above, is that all?Any bigger reason for updating the site?
Btw, it is really slow now, and I don't like the fonts that is below everyone's avatar...They are pretty small..
