Suggestion Mention feature in Editor for Posts

    Today I thought that if I want to show this post to other member and want to say something directly to that member then?? If we have mention feature in editor (one BBcode) so we can mention any forum member in particular post and he get's alert for it like "Member1 one mentioned you in Thread1" then it's useful in many way..

    @Shawn - After reading the title only you had thought how many people mentioned me everyday and how many alerts I will get in this way..yes you are absolutely right everyone is not happy with this feature but you can give option in control panel "Allow people to mention me" so they can control it themselves.

    Let me know your opinion :)

    Just not something we have interest in... Plus we would have to code it since it's not just an on/off setting.
