I like it. Surely it will answer the question. DP has lots of answer for many questions. Search function is good friend for all member.
Panda is all about the content of your website. Just focus on your website content to make it quality and unique content.
There is a good chance the website has been hit with an over optimisation penalty as there are too many repeated keywords and links back to the home page from the home page. It also doesn't read well which as we all know helps not just your users but also your rankings.
Content is key my friend! Make sure your content is easy to read by PEOPLE, too many keywords makes it difficult for the content to flow and will be harder for your readers to understand and this is where the panda will penalise you.
Basically google updates his algorithm a few times a year and webmasters can notice those updates by looking and comparing their websites' ranks. One of those updates got nickname of "panda". Google Panda update is more content-oriented so that you're going to have to do now is create unique articles and forget about copied content or spinners.
Any update, Google introduces is beneficial for the whole society, it is mainly for quality, and controlling spam works, so you have to follow Google guidelines for better result, I would say..
Yes, I agree with SERPpoint. It is good for users, but I have seen; for few small business owners these updates are not doing well. They worked very hard and din't do any spam and due to Google recent update, they lost the ranking.
Panda was from a few years ago, 2011 if I remember correctly. The most recent major update was Penguin, and I'm sure there will be another major change in the algorithm soon.
