The best solution is to read any of the 100's of threads on this subject, that are in the forum. No sense me writing it out again for you.........just read the threads :(

Which bit of it are you not getting? Once a site has been suggested there is absolutely nothing more you can do; there is no help! ... if you did what snooks suggested, then you would know that.

Snooks might not yet be the owner, LOL, but he is an active editor, like I am. There is no other way, you have suggested the site, it can take several years for a review.

There are others on here who will tell you to join the scam that you pay and, IMO, lose your money. A DMOZ listing is not a big deal, so grow up and go promote your site anywhere else, but you have done everything you can at DMOZ.
Oh and by the way if an editor is caught taking money for a listing or your site linked with offering a bribe to get a listing, the editor and your site will be banned forever. So is a listing such a big deal that you will risk losing your money and if you are that desperate what will you do if your site is banned forever?

If you are desperate to get listed which you shouldn´t be then go to one of the freelance sites that DMOZ editors advertise and list a job that you want to get listed in DMOZ in less than 10 days and you will start getting offers from editors that ask between $20-$100 to list your site. Choose the one who has feedback that he has done this before, give him the job and pay him after he has listed your site.
Is this fast enough solution for you? ;)

Hear what I said. If you are desperate to be listed then believe that editors taking bribes are banned for ever and site owners offering bribes are banned for ever. And don't believe everything that DMOZ hate rs say on here, attributing those ads to DMOZ editors.

they could believe them if they want do; but then they run the risk of being scammed out of their money and never getting listed.

LOL. Do you honestly believe someone will be fooled with this nonsense about DMOZ editors honesty? You can find more honest people in Federal prisons than in DMOZ. ;)

No answers to this thread yet? More Fun with DMOZ

There is no risk of being scammed because on freelance sites, you don´t pay until the job is done which in this case means the site is listed in DMOZ. Try again.

Only 7 person? The number of active editors in DMOZ must be really declining. Based on 7 person offering you to sell listings, I estimate the number of active editall and meta in DMOZ to be about 9-10 person. ;) :)

It is hard to decide if you are just too stubborn to admit the truth or too stupid to understand it.
I write this in CAPITAL letters to make it easier for you to read and maybe understand.

ON FREELANCE SITES YOU WILL NOT PAY BEFORE THE JOB IS DONE WHICH IN THIS CASE MEANS THE SITE IS LISTED IN DMOZ.

    Got it?

LOL. It seems you are just too stupid to understand. He cannot be scammed because he will not pay until the job is done and the site is listed. People who bid for the job will not get paid until they have done the job.

    http://www.freelancer.co.uk/info/how-it-works.php

Now, can you explain how the people bidding for this job in your link, can list this guy´s site in 10,7 or 3 days?

I just looked at all the bidders feedbacks and as far as i can see, NONE of them are showing positive feedback for getting a site listed in DMOZ.

To be honest guys, all you can do is submit your site and wait.
I, as yet (like many others), haven't got a single website listed.
I wouldn't risk breaching their TOS by bribing an editor.
Even if it is on a pay-after-listing basis.
Because if dmoz ever find out, they'll remove the listing.
What then? You've lost your money and lost your listing.

That being said, dmoz isn't so important as it used to be.
Getting listed in dmoz isn't such a big deal any more. ;)
There are plenty of other places to list your site today.

This is not the only freelance site, if you search for a thread started by me many years ago, you will see how many jobs were completed. DMOZ has been corrupt to the core for a very very long time and with the bunch controlling it right now ( Corrupt and Incompetent) it will never change.
