Hi all, I'm a little confused about the rep thing and the itrader thing. If I get good feedback on itrader from a sale then do I also get a reputation point? Are they the same thing? Thanks in advance for your knowledge in this.
No they are not the same. No. Reputation points are added by other users if they find your post helpful.
itrader is feedback given after any deal in business section , rep is given as feedback comment for any post.
Another thing, you can't give an itrader to someone if you don't participate in a BST thread with that user. But you can give a rep to anyone even if you don't. You cannot give a rep twice for a single post though.
Not necessarily, its upto the buyer/seller if he wants to give you an itrader/rep. He is not obligated at all.
well.. iTrader is available only in marketplace.. when you can get reputation anywhere.. they are entirely different
Thank you everyone. You've been most helpful. Now to figure out how to give rep points. EDIT... OK, I got that figured out...it's the little scales in the upper right hand corner.
Click on the scales, choose approve or disapprove. Leave a comment (and your name), even a smiley, and it's done. You have no control over how many points are given.
