Few days back Bing integrated social search for its US users. A feature introduced in competition with Google's Search Plus Your World! What do you think of this new feature? (Note: If you are not a US user you may not see this feature currently)
Yes, I can't see the feature, because I live at outside U.S. Maybe the Microsoft will add the feature for the non U.S.
It's really sad that google owns 80% of the search engine market and bing owns 8.8% source: http://www.statowl.com/search_engine_market_share.php
It takes time to acquire market share. If Bing continues to improve upon itself and promote itself as a better alternative to Google then the market share will keep increasing. Only time will tell.
Off-course, we may expect Bing to add the same feature to Non- US users in coming months. They definitely cannot be biased and implement that feature in US only.
I guess it is a step in the right direction for Bing, i don't think they are anywhere near catching up with Google though.
Microsoft launched So.cl a social network! Here's the thread i created for so.cl -Microsoft launches So.cl Social Network Yeah, Bing currently has only 17 percent of search market share, too small but hey they have grew by 75 percent compared to last year.
Not at all, it's the difference between google and microsoft in their product principles. Microsoft focus on individual and google on society.
i'm seeing a lot of advertising for bing... online and on TV. I've been using it a lot more recently too... Bing is great
Every new features make the thing more easy. To compete with Google, bing has to come up regularly with many new features. Good move.
