Just email them and ask for your account to be terminated.

    One question though: Why?

I suggest that you contact Google and ask them if you cancel your account will you still be able to open a new account in the future.

    Good luck!

Why is this even an issue? Remove the ads and move on with your life. You seem a little too caught up in this.

This is exactly what to do (read carefully):

    1. If you want to continue to use adsense on your sites, do it.
    or
    2. if you dont want to continue to use adsense on your sites, dont do it.

Why would you close your account?

Go to $100 without breaking the TOS and then you will see if you will get payment or not.

The first thing you should do is ignore all the bad advice in this thread and concentrate on the good ones. A little tip. 99% of the time you can judge how good the advice is someone is giving you by looking at their join date (this doesn't always work but is a good rule of thumb.)

There is really no use in attempting to speak with Google on a personal level. The messages you will receive are always canned, and are usually initiated by a person making minimum wage scanning for keywords and pressing a button (think monkeys.)

The problem is, I think the damage has already been done. Why do I think this? Well a few weeks ago, a friend of mine tried to speak with Google on a personal level as well asking them a simple question. The response he got back went something like this:

"I understand that you wish know more about blah blah blah. However we have reviewed your account and noticed that your account is related to an account that was disabled many months ago for fraudulant clicks and therefore we have disabled this account now too. Thank you, and goodbye."

Even if you did cancel your account, Google has still recorded that click and removed money from the advertiser's wallet. In essence, the click fraud has been committed no matter if you ask to cancel your account or not. If you open another account I'm sure this same situation will arise when it comes time to communicate with them or them pay you, they will give you the same BS that my friend got.

Anyhow, good luck dealing with the inpersonal Google.

Ok, hexed are saying that personal contact with Google is not possible.
I had personal contact with the adsense team several times.

    So belive whomever you want.

Why do you want to cancel account?
Would you like to apply for it again in the future?
    Just forget about it ..

This thread is very strange. From what I gather you clicked on your ads so now you want to cancel your account. If you clicked on your own ads it won’t count so don’t worry about that, just don’t do it constantly either wise they will think your doing click fraud.

Please understand, if you have a specific question try explaining it the best you can so that we can understand how to you.

Tell google that you made a mistake, make your account reset to zero $ and start from new.
That will help you, no need to signup application again.

The OP admitted in another thread (http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=158754) that he clicked on his own ads to the tune of $25.00. He hasn't reached the $100 milestone yet and is concerned he will be banned at that point. He wants to cancel his account and make a clean start with a new account by admitting his discretion to G.

I never heard of anyone doing that.

I would leave the ads on there until you get $100, get a payout and then leave them for good.

$25 bucks? I would probably think he's finished but maybe if he sincerely offered to pay for the fraudulent clicks and start back at zero, Google would consider the clicks a genuine accident and give him a break.

You see I clicked on my ads but I did not do it in a single day,I did it over a number of days so it cannot be traced and

also I think only one day the click through rate was higher and on other days it just looked like normal

I also clicked my ads from many ip addresses such that as I have a dial up account the ip addresses would always change after each log in

whether they would be able to detect it
