steve_gts, Your backlinks have increased. See: http://66.102.7.104/search?hl=en&q=link:http://www.ledgerservices.co.uk/
On that DC, so have mine: Results 1 - 10 of about 1,760 linking to http://www.spicegirlslondonescorts.com
Two of my 3 month old sites are looking pretty damn good in 3 DCs PR 0 to PR 6 PR 0 to PR 4 I hope it sticks.
I am starting to see backlinks ... Even though I have plenty of nice natural backlinks , somehow Google only shows the Backlinks from DP and from the site itself .
Guys, I dont understand one thing, most people say PR is of no use and yet we get so excited about PR updates,
[sarcasm]More, please, MORE! I don't think we can possibly get enough of these 'Is PR updating? When will PR update?' threads![/sarcasm] BTW, sundaybrew, your avatar is one of my favorite internet girls.
OMG! One of my pages is going from PR 6 to 0 because I had the index.html on password protection for 3 weeks, while I was updating the whole site!!
It's more than just a PageRank update. I see 38,000 pages that have been gone from one of my sites since last May now showing up as Supplemental Results with cache dates in March.
Hey friends, there was a tool that will list the PRs of links in one page, what was the URL for this? It was flash that display the screenshot of the URL you give him with little box with the pr next to the link ? Or in other words - how to check easily the PR for my inner pages
PR may not important much as it were before but it still one medium factor in G. algo. I bet most people got some excited when PR gone up, coz it easier to figure out than look at backlink or anything.
There is something strange going on with backlinks and PR... I think it is related to work Google has been doing with redirects. Check out the PR of amazon.com: http://oy-oy.eu/google/pr/?url=http://www.amazon.com/ Check out the links across some d/c's: http://72.14.205.104/search?hl=en&q=link:www.amazon.com http://66.102.7.18/search?hl=en&q=link:www.amazon.com Considering that most of the links to amazon are of this form: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/netmidwestweb-20 and produce 301 status codes, but amazon still ranked for almost every book, it becomes obvious something is/was not working correctly. There is at least one incidental post here about 301 redirects not indexing: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=148772 And I have a theory about why sitepoint forums are going to PR0: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=149710 But we know Google is messed up...
