    They have a $1000 setup fee for the privilege package, and it's not really 3% because they add a shitload of taxes too. It works out to 7%

    + a lot of other crap fees.

    Ya, I am waiting for infolinks guys also to get back to me on this. But I am not much worried about this payment. This will surely happen with paypal. I am worried about 50+ very small payments which are not even worth writing emails and chasing the buyers.

    Yes true. those smaller payments are difficult get back.

    I agree. Those ebook kind of payments are gone forever. Buyers are not going to pay up.

    Yes the status showed as completed. But still it was canceled. So they can canceled the withdrawal even after it is "completed".And most ironic thing is that I had another withdrawal initiated which was still in "Pending status" and it was not canceled. But they canceled the one which showed as completed. This could be a little hard on you if they do the same thing to you. Lets hope they don't.

    One word reply: YES

    You can't get anything out of them with that language.

    One needs to politely handle every issue in life.

    You language was abusive.. I agree. But the thing here is..
    Their reply sounds like an automated reply to me.

    Your mail contained words such as WTF, what the hell .. so the system sent an auto reply to rephrase your mail for that.

    nope.. see every customer care associate will have message templates..
    They will just select the template and can add few of their own words
    Seems like they selected just the abuse words template :)

    Oh i forget that... yes you are right... they might wrote the following code for the replys...

    if(content==%wtf%||%hell%||or somthing)
    response-> abusive message template
    if(content has "payment reversed")
    respone-> "We reversed this payment because we have stopped allowing personal payments to be sent to or from India.

    If this was a payment for a purchase of goods or services, and not a personal payment, then you may contact the buyer and have him or her resend the payment as follows: (a) click the Send Money tab, (b) select "Goods," and (c) provide a shipping address.

    If this payment was a personal payment such as a gift, then we have requested that the sender find another payment method until we restore personal payments to and from India.

    We are trying to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and we're sorry for any inconvenience.

    Thank you,
    PayPal"
    ....

    I think they dont even see our questions....

    Agreed it is frustrating to see your hard earned money stuck in limbo for no fault of yours or money getting returned and you getting shafted with a "cancellation" fee. But that does not detract from the fact that, you simply cannot send abusive emails with the "f" word to a customer service employee. Not after the fact that they have accepted that there is a problem with their system and they are trying to resolve it.

    Before you send an email just ask yourself one question, will you use the same language if you have to walk up to their office and talk to the customer rep in person. I think not.

    I am also a victim of this delay and payment reversal fiasco that is unfolding over the last few days but I am not going to send an email laced with expletives to a customer rep.

    I called PayPal US team, they confirmed, this issue happened to Indian customers. They requested to wait till Tuesday (09/02/2010). Everything will be resolved automatically. We do not need to anything in this case. He also asked us "not to do any transactions until". I think this is the bug, the reason they asked to wait till Tuesday is they usually schedule maintenance at Tuesday night.

    Fingers crossed.

    I also contacted the ad networks as well as a direct ad buyer and am waiting a reply.

    I agree that the small payments will be a problem. Luckily the payments that go reversed from me in the last two days were just three including two ad networks including infolinks and adengage and a trusted buyer who has been buying ads on one of my site for more than a year now and so I can trust him too. So, hopefully I should not lose any money. The internet in my whole area was down yesterday and it came back today and I was at first a bit pissed off to see all the payments reversed. But now I am a lot more calmer and just hoping that they resolve all the problems soon.

    Checked my bank account again. No sign of the money I withdrew on 27th Jan. And another small payment got reversed today. I am not going to withdraw again till this problem is resolved. I have a substantial sum in transit and I am some what depressed with this whole fiasco.

    So, that 46 inches Samsung can wait
