Ok thanks, that was months ago. I assume people's opinions have changed as have the sites' ratings/prices.

well, I prefer to say there isn't the best one, just the better one, like an Ad slogan, different people have different requirement, then will choose different provider.

This poll is identical to one posted at DP in 2008:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=937996

TopGrabs is a reseller not a registrar. Are you releated to TopGrabs?
The signature links in the 2 posts have the same nameservers as Topgrabs.

You are allowed self promotion at DP. You don't have to pretend to be someone else.

    Edit: I didn't see Moses8595 post.

For me, I use LimeDomains. It's $8.99/year for a domain and comes with free basic hosting. Privacy protection is only $4.99 as well.

No, they do any type of registration.
Send their support an email telling them you are a domainer referred from domain forum, then they will adjust your price tag lower.

godaddy is my choice, but whatever you do DO NOT use 1and1. They are horrible in every possible way.

Please support any negative feedback with evidence or at least a reason why. It allows others to understand what the issue may be with the registrar.

I took a look and their registration system seems rather complex and expensive because its attached with all these hosting plans and design packages.
