Even after the miss-haps this morning I have to say GoDaddy is my favorite because they have always been good to me

It is all about cheap for some people. I voted for NameCheap because they are easy to use and have great support.

I used GoDaddy, but today I tried namecheap and the service was pretty good, plus free Whois protection, which costs $8 at GoDaddy

I like namecheap, their control panel isn't bulky, free whois ;) and I usually find some good cheap deals with them :)

Godaddy is not costly. There are tons of discount codes, making it very cheap for most kind of purchases.
I hate their interface, prefer Namecheap for that. Their free whoisguard is good, and paid one is way cheaper than Godaddy's.

I voted Name.com but I struggled between that and Namecheap.com
Both are good. Both have privacy included in reg fee.
    Name is $5.99 reg
    Namecheap is not much more...

Majority of my names are with Godaddy (50-55%)...yet I find it difficult vote Godaddy...
WHY? Because some of their policies are not "domainer friendly"
Also because their check-out is just cluttered with upsales.
However, I do not find them to be expensive at all.
In fact other than the above mentioned factors...and a few minor gripes, I think they are rather good.

    Never tried TopGrabs...
I am not particularly fond of Register...(though I prefer it to 1and1)

Will you be doing a poll for the worst?
    :p

It's hard to compare - some people only care about price, but some care more about customer service. Personally I use GoDaddy purely because they are cheap (if you use the right discount codes) and it's convenient having all your domains in one place. Although I do also have a 123-reg account for all my UK domains. However I used to have quite a few domains with namecheap - their customer service is excellent and if it wasn't for the prices, I would have all of my domains with them. It's also worth noting that I (and many others) have heard tonnes of horror stories about domain tasting and other problems with GoDaddy.

Never heard of TopGrabs.com before - I'll check them out and might add them to Domparison (just had to plug my site!)

Just checked out the TopGrabs site - I like how the logo is a poor man's version of the GoDaddy logo! 0 out of 10 for imagination.
