I would love to have a conversation with the editor of the SEO category. Namely the "I" section. If your around i would love to hear you justify some of your edits
If you mean Search_Engine_Optimization_Firms/I, over 200 hundred editors can work there if they so choose and in the last year, several have. It's not likely that any of them will be contacting you: From an editing point of view, it wouldn't serve any useful purpose.
i only mentioned it because i submitted my seo company there over a year ago, and i noticed about 10 new sites added last time i looked. it would easily pass even to most picky of editors, so i would be interested to find out their reason for not accepting it, if they themselves have not got a vested interest in keeping sites out of dmoz for reason of competition i have ranked my site without this link from dmoz so i dont really care if the site gets in or not. i do care in principle about the unfair edits that go on.
sweetlouise this is just one of loads more others categories of dmoz practically locked by the so smart and experienced editors . Your company means nothing for them , like you see up Jim already give you the verdict , practically sent you somewhere on the origins if you know what I mean lol , it's hes job and everyone other job to keep away other peoples and competition from here , I know one of the category (* said before about it on the forum ) where ALL of sites added here are using a particular free script witch is known like a bogus ) thru this script a guy - most probably the editor from this category - have some subscriptions plans on other site and examples like this are hundreds on all the directory . Principle behind editorial rules are so hidden and so hard to understand by normal peoples .... you can't even imagine .... just look around on this forum , check other forums too and you will see what I mean . PS. Jim can you give us a light on a simple mater dude ? just trace my last posts on this forum and see couple of days ago I was posted on other thread an example about one of dmoz listings , can you be so kindly and give us just a peanuts from your so glorious intelligence master and tell us WHAT ON THE NAME OF GOD YOU GUYS CONSIDER '' QUALITY '' on the directory ? I just hope you will not ask one of your guardians angels from this forum to ban me again because of this post or other posts like you do before , and I hope , I truly hope dude on a day sometime even if is on far away future all this lies will be stopped by someone . So the question is simple for you today : WHAT means '' '' and how's reflected it on this example

it's 2 years old thread , and yes i`ve read it , here's nothing different and nothing changed since then , someone come and say something , Rob come and give the light , Ivan come and commented like normal sharing something from hes bad experience with dmoz '' mafia '' like gworld said ... and like a continue dance over the years nothing changed ... unfortunately only thing what's missing from this thread it's Jim's half or even less half quoted words from other peoples posts taking words from the context and giving some '' robot like '' replies then .... day's pass / months pass ... years pass and today still spam links are listed on the directory like none care about them . And like an update on present days most probably I`ll get another infractions followed by a ban for few months ... you know life cycle ... easy like that .... Important it's the spam ! that's here and was here since years and will be here years from now ... that's important , and if the spam links are present on the directory someone added them , wasn't me since i`m not enough '' experienced '' or smart or honest like others who become editors ... still someone added those spam links on the directory . SPAM ... easy like that when peoples who can take decisions will take decisions needed MAYBE the directory will be really spam free , till then ... they can be considered all being a part of some kind of '' mafia '' like gworld said before .
