Without Google the whole life will become more difficult online without accurate searches. You will find it harder to search the correct information you need and most importantly no one can make money with adsense anymore . Google Die webmasters suffer and the whole netizens will have difficult life back to old days where yahoo dump useless information on their search results
there is no bad experience till now ... m getting ma payment at time.. and its fair business if i see any fault in that.. then m not the person who compromise with his income i shot to next that very instance.. gud job man..!!
I am starting to think that GOOGLE thinks that we need them rather than they need us. One way to put them on competition is to open a ad company that would be paying more than google. If we want to give a competitor to google then we ought to come up with some lucrative and innovative idea to defeat it to death. It's not a war but if they start it we will end it.
yes i agree with you as Google spamy in gmail you cant stop spamming and also you can spam Google use double click Google sell your search history to advertisers but i think Yahoo is not an alternative too see my previous thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1407533 and in messenger when you log in it ll open 3 pop ups i am not sure about live but for search i like mamma dot com but its very hard to boycott as you can see since you started thread a long time but Google is still there and doing same as you mentioned 2 years ago
I am not agree with you at all, but if this point "Blogger Steals Ad Revenue From It’s Own Bloggers." is true then it's a serious problem with blogger, gmail or adwords, i use just their search engine, adsense and analytics. Anyways i don't use blogger so i still love Google and i don't think you can change something with this post, maybe just a few google users will give it up.
For me google is the dominant search engine so its easy for me to optimise my sites for google and not really worry about anyone else. Imagine if Google, Yahoo and Bing has equal search traffic you'd have to think harder about who to optimise your site for!
Boycotting Google as a whole is hard. I recommend boycott to Blogger. Last August 1st, they mercilessly deleted all my blogs and even those that I know. No email, no reason, whatsoever.
When I first came here, People said "Traffic is the King" a year later "Contents is the King" and now "Google is the King". I'm afraid can't agree with you mate, Let see how Bing does first and then we'll get back to you on this
Google doesn't have a monopoly (yes, I know they have 80% market share), they have the best product and users agree. The only problem that I have with Google is their privacy issues, they do act as spys...very invasive to say the least. I beleive they are being sued for some of their actions. You would have to Google it...lol as for the selling links policy, you shoudl clarify, you can sell as many links as you want, you just have to put the nofollow tag (which is pretty much only good for that now a days) on the links as to not pass link juice...with that said, I know plenty of people who sell links openly and have for quite some time, with no-nofollow and they have never been in any kind of trouble. I think this policy is actually just, but it is anoying. After all, would you want a viagra site to come up when you type "cookies"? Well, if you give an open pass to buy links spammers will buy 100k links and then rank for thiongs like that....sure, maybe a short time, but why even risk it?
Well, I find Google one of the most trusty source of income, like the adsense. And the will to take down Google through boycott at this point --I think it is impossible.
Wasnt Microsoft doing the same? How many of us have actually quit using Windows and opted for Mac/Linux Desktops?
Not really, if everyone starts using Bing, then websites will receive traffic from Bing. Though boycotting Google is too extreme...
I guess we have no choice because we can't live without google. I love google because google give me tons of free traffic.
