There are mad dictators who can survive a nuclear attack by hiding few kms inside earth or in a mountain's cave ,etc .

No it wasn't. People was dying of starvation , and The So called Empire was too busy invaded other countries(like China and others). So stop this crap.

In 1947, Japan adopted a new pacifist constitution emphasizing liberal democratic practices. The Allied occupation ended by the Treaty of San Francisco in 1952[29] and Japan was granted membership in the United Nations in 1956. Japan later achieved spectacular growth to become the second largest economy in the world, with an annual growth rate averaging 10% for four decades

    N. Korea, it's pretty much like when Saddam was in power in Iraq, just talk big words.. If US attack they won't find nothing more then some basilic missiles. Now the US people will mad for not finding any nuclear weapon.

I've been to Hiroshima. It's a beautiful place and amazing how they built it up. Hiroshima has to be my favorite spot in Japan.

It's funny how a term can be tacked on to thaings that happened in the past.

Japan was embroiled in a war of such magnitude the likes that none had ever seen. The people of the nation could not stop it. Drastic measures had to be taken.

The A-bombs dropped on Japan in WW2 was an effort to bring the blood shed to an end; it worked.

The world did not domonate Japan after the war. The world extended their collective hand and helped Japan recover and gain strength. And, that same collective hand was offered to Germany and they rebuilt their lives as well.

Terrorist, on the other hand, do not even think along those lines. A terrorist says that either you think like me or you wil be destroyed. ie: Human bombs.

There is a distinct difference between war and terrorism.

War is a conflict with a nation. Germany had Hitler. Japan had Tojo. World domination was their ultimate goal.

Terrorism is a conflict with you, me, and anybody that does not think like the terrorist. Look back at 9/11

It's not just a case of sematics of how a word is used. Know the terms before tacking them on to an event that you do not fully understand.

    War is still hell.

    Good luck to all.

As much as we know that the A-bomb played a big role in ending the war, the Soviet's turning their focus from Germany to Japan is probably what triggered Japan the most to surrender. The Japanese would have never surrended to simply A-bombs. It just played out unfortunately to them that Communism hates Fascism just as much.

nice try to justify the state terrorism by US.

If your family were killed there then you would have some thoughts other them shamelessly defending the murder of innocent civilians by US
