Is Yahoo Answers worth the effort for traffic?

Yahoo answers are very good for driving free traffic. In Yahoo answers there are many levels. Every level you qualify you account will be strong.

 

yahoo answers is not good source to generate good traffic. Instead of this you use SEO marketing.

 

It is used when we want to get backlink and fast index by search engine

 

for one reason everytime my acount got suspended what can I do about this?

 

I guess it depends on your niche and how smart you are at using it. For one of my sites it's my second best source of traffic. I've never spammed, I've given the site as the answer when it's been the answer, and I still get traffic from answers posted months ago - even when the answer wasn't chosen as the best.
That's how to use it - as with most marketing - targeting to quality traffic is what it's really about.

 

Yeah - but it's all nofollow - you'll get indexed by yahoo - I wouldn't bank on it for google

There are much better ways of getting traffic.

 

For the right niche, it really is a good source of traffic. I don't know if I would recommend it for your niche, but a niche with a physical product works well for me.

I think it really depends on how you do it and what category you're answering.

 

It adds on gaining traffic for your article or site but not totally.You can use it as a part of your marketing strategy but i suggest do other ways at the same time for better results.

 

Yahoo! Answers is effective. You can make 1k+ visitors a day, if targetted right.

I get about 400-500 a day, solely from Yahoo! Answers. I spend, maybe, 20-30mins answering, that's it.

 

You will have to keep adding on every practice, whether it is Yahoo answers or SEO. In SEO also you will have to keep building links.

So grab every way through which you can get the traffic. Do not miss any one.

This is good resource and google also loves it as they show yahoo answers in search results.

I have used questions and answers in yahoo a couple of times, but your website will not be indexed as some claim and its pretty hard to measure if the time invested in answering questions is really worth it. I have been monitoring my site after using this method and not really noticed any difference.
