Low Traffic due to Holidays?

Do you have low traffic due to the holidays?

Lol alright. Well. That's good to hear. I mean, I didn't know if everyone just decided to say "*** his sites! Merry Chirstmas" lol

 

My traffic is actually peaking, but my earnings are less this year - whereas last year it skyrocketed. I should clarify that it's my adsense earnings that are actually dropping, all my other ones are skyrocketing as expected - quite the downer actually.

 

Yeah dropped about half. Quite expected.

My traffic is very slow, people are doing family stuff and not at work... so for the most part traffic is going to be down.

 

The traffic from Canada and US are very low but in others countries, there's no change.

 

I am in the same boat as well. Let's hope it goes up!

 

Same here and the best thing to do now is to make our site more attractive to visitors while they are still on the holidays by adding articles, optimizing and a lot more.

 

Anybody else also notice a higher bounce rate?

 

I am experiencing the same, But it may depend on the niche as well, if you have a site which has some recipes related to xmas, you may have higher traffic during these days. Google trends also reveals this.

 

Drop a bit, but not substantial

Of course it is. I imagine it won't get back to normal until around the 3rd of January. Most vacationers don't come home right away after Christmas. Then you have new years. Once it's over people will begin to fall back into their normal routines.

 

Yes. People don't spend much time now online . They rather be with their families.

 

Less Income High tension

 

well my traffic increased a bit , I hope it will continue like that.

 

AWFULLY low traffic here in Italy.

 

I think we need a break too and since there's low traffic this holidays then let it be. Relax and recover later.
