Ok, At last I'm asking this Question: How To get traffic to your blog?

I have a technology blog - Tech Thunder
I write unique articles, not copied from elsewhere.
You can see the quality of my content is far superior than other tech blogs.
I get upto 700 visitors everyday.
40% from Google itself.
Earning are very less.
Plese suggest me some tips

Dont ask me to submit to social bookmarking, coz I already do so , but still of no use.
same in case of forum signatures.

Traffic volume is good. What you need is well optimized ad placement.

 

700 Visitors/day is respectable to any webmaster, and you've done your homework.

What you need to work on is Adplacement just like Abhik suggested, when I visit your site - it seems that touch bit "too spammy'' just my 2cents.

also target your keywords better, because the adverts range from word processing to locking your folders.. seems a bit everywhere.

just on last note, is your traffic targetted visitors that show interest in your content? you can always read/add to this.

you should put your top google ad and put that into your content. I showed an example before and got an infraction for it, so I can't link you an example of what im talking about.

 

i think ad placement has to be optimized, u need to blend ur ads into ur site color and theme.. it's too white and easy to differentiate ur ads and ur texts..

Personally, If I was you. I would remove that big ad in the middle of the page just above the content. (Think that's where its spammy, like it's sorta "too in my face" then I would swap the "recent posts" with the "image ad" which is below it.

also if you want more, i'll put a really small advert just below every article (maybe just on text link)

as far as targeting keywords goes, handpick a few good keywords like "technology, software, news" or whatever your blogs about, then use them as much as you can but without overusing it. Like control the quality but surround your content around those keywords.

 

Fix the template. It does not come perfectly in IE. You must change or fix. Some people, like me just leave the site if there’re Adsense before main content. You may use a small ad unit at top. If you managed that amount of visitors, why their comments are relatively few? Chances are, they are not interested about the topics. You didn’t mention, how you want to earn from your blog? If it’s Adsense or selling affiliate product, then forget it! 1 out of 1000 may earn a little from that. Better you manage ads from your local companies’ monthly paid basis. Sorry to say, no hope to earn tremendous amount with this blog topic.

 

Put the 728x15 in the navbar and align google square that you have on the top of the posts to the left.

what annoyed me is the 336x280 adsense at the top of every page (make it look spammy). Try to place it at the end of the article.

 

if i keep that ad at the end of the post, thn any one will click my ads?

My first question is: who are you expecting to read this, i.e. who is your audience?

Don't say everyone because not everyone is looking for tech information. Is the audience people first time users of the internet? People who just love social networks? People who like reading about and swapping tech tips?

If you're targeting your website to a country or place where most people understand the inner workings of how techie, software things work, then this might just be simple "Oh, that's nice" reader info. Think of your blog like C/Net. They review new products for consumers interested in buying the best electronic gadget for their money.

You're not necessarily providing reviews, but you are providing information for a certain audience. You will have to pinpoint who that audience is.

Reason why I say this is because once you've determined that audience, you can go onto squidoo or goarticles and write about a particular feature in your blog like seeing your face on google when chatting, for instance, using one of your examples.

You talk about now google allows you to see faces in chat now. How this compares to skype or others. Showing how it can benefit people or not benefit. Pluses of it. The minuses of it. It' about time. Something that will give you a unique voice. You link that to your blog (because as you know article directories index faster than blogs) and say in your resource box. "To hear about other exciting developments in internet technology, visit my website at (your link to your blog)".

I'd also recommend you check out www.askjoelcomm.com. Joel Comm is considered the king of adsense. You can also check out some of his videos on You Tube.

My blog is tech related, so I'm only expecting people who want latest tech info, tips, tricks, hacks, alerts and so on..

I'm targeting only 3 countries:
1) United States
2) India
3) United Kingdom

also I get traffic in the same sequence of the country mentioned above.

I tell you what, you need to build some backlinks!!!! Just checked on yahoo explorer and you only have 53!!!

Build more backlinks and this will help your rankings and get more traffic....

 

thats what i been doing to a new site (recently bought) and its didnt have any
backlinks built.... 3 weeks later its coming up for 400 different keyword phrases
and the traffic is at about 200 unique daily... and i have just begun

My suggestion would be...

1. bookmarks 100+ 1 monthly for 3 months
2. Article directories = 800 article directories
3. directory submissions = 1500 directories / and niche directories
4. press release = 80+ places
5. advertise banners & text links = on blogs/sites same niche

that's just for starters....
