P.S. I'm actually interested in many of these, but I'm limited as to how many whois checks I can do (does everyone experience this?) and notice that at least some are expired (eg. http://travelrome.info/) and others have wp install pages at the index (eg. http://travelniagarafalls.info) so assume sold...

I understand it's difficult for you to offer ongoing updates but on my end it's difficult to follow as well.

Still trying to search through the list for valid sites, and waiting on revenue estimates. Thanks!

Hi, glad you got my pm as I thought you might have some interest in this sale. I will make it clear though that this sale is a bit different to my previous one. This sale is includes domains that are expiring either on the 28th of Dec/08 or the 1st of Jan/09 so if anyone is interested they need to get this happening soon. Some others have expiry dates later next year.

The other main difference in this sale to the previous one is that I'm letting these go individually or as a bulk buy and only for the domain name and not the website or content. I'm always happy to work out something if anyone wants to buy a large number of them and I would be able to include the wordpress template I have customized as free extra plus a MySql database backup. Since these are been sold as domains only then I won't be going to the trouble of providing stats and income etc. There is not that much for these anyway since most have not been developed properly and only have first stage mini sites. If you want to buy bulk then I can give you the stat readouts and Analytics details too if they have them. This just takes a bit of time so I really would only want to go to this trouble if it was for a bulk purchase. I recommend to not worry about stats though and just buy these domains if you can see a good development opportunity in them, I can but I have too many domains and I can't keep up with it all.

Yes I have had that problem too using Whois.net as they limit you. Try doing a search for Whois on Google and find another Whois to use. If you want any specific details I could give them to you but the main things you will find on Whois is that they expire on the dates I wrote above and they are all registered at MyDomain.com.

As for the sites, travelrome.info is actually parked at Sedo and travelniagarafalls.info has a wordpress blog but I had recently upgraded these to the latest version and I had to change the name of the default database on the config page which takes about 1 minute, I just never bothered but I changed the one for travelniagarafalls.info so you can see how it looks currently.

 

Well I'm sick of wasting my time with dreamers, should have learn't the first time. Some of these domains expire on the 28th so you have one day left on them. The rest have various expiry dates.

Sorry, but it was the domains with the established sites which interested me; the domain names have no value (to me) in and of themselves.

I would have needed to search through for certain registrations and expiry dates and those which still had sites on them, and frankly gave up.

Sorry I can't help you with them, and didn't realize you required someone to reply with their reasoning as to why they are not replying. -!-

All in all, I hope you do get some offers to recoup some of your initial investment. Best of luck,

Well I was not talking about you but in general I have had a couple of people make it difficult. I had to ask a mod to sort a problem out on my other sale thread. But in saying that I think I was expecting a reply at least since I had answered your questions. Thanks anyway for your interest anyway. I also would have been happy to work with you on a deal and also provide the info you needed but as I explained it would need to be worth my time in a bulk amount and websites certainly could be provided if we came to an agreement on the price.

 

You're right - I guess I was still thinking about some of them as well, and time does fly.
