If i own a link directory and it has its pr next to each link. What does it mean if a website has pr of N/A?? Does that mean it does not exist or what?
It means that the websites with PR of N/A haven't got a PR yet, and you have to wait till Google decide to export their internal PR values to the Google Toolbar
It means the Google's API is reporting a -1 PR for a page. It means the page has not been assigned a Toolbar PR yet or that Google doesn't want to show a PR for that page. Of course your link directory might be broken and it's not getting the proper PR from Google's API. Go to the page itself and see if the PR from the Google Toolbar matches what your link directory is reporting. If they're different then your link directory is broken...or you haven't run a PR update against the directory.

N\A means Not Applicable... In other words, we can say, Google did not decide any PR of that particular page as well as this site has no any popularity in SEO parameters.
Hello... N/A = Never/Again N/A = Ninja/Assassin N/A = Not/Acceptable i can keep going if ya want laterz malcolm
N/A means not available, this will shows only for new site before ranking. But for old site if no PR will show 0/10. So the site with N/A is not ranked by google for new site , penalized for old site
The answers given to you here in this thread are spot on, you'll be assigned a PR shortly (relatively) so hang in there if you want to know more about how Google works you can always read this too
