For anyone who has had a directory for over a year. What are your experiences with this business? Has it been worth keeping this long? Please discuss.

    Age?
    URL?
    etc...

Well i have a directory but not over a year. Though I have many friends who have directories for over a year. Well directory business is successful if you have good PR. So first build get lots of backlinks and build PR and then you can get good money for featured and normal links as well.

OK. These type of questions come up all the time. First, as in any type of business most will not succeed. Look around. The Internet is already littered with many, many dead directories. If there was a business venture out there that I could guarantee that you would make money at, then EVERYONE would be doing it already. Also, building a successful directory is hard work. This is not a set it and forget kind of website.

It looks like you have a few directories there. How are they doing for you? How long have you had them?

How long? Well, varying time lengths from 18 months to a very recently launched.

How are they doing for you? I'm happy with them.
