$50 Forum Banner for Football Website (Paypal)

I need a forum banner for a site at: forum.footyfortress.com
Also you can take a look at the main website footyfortress.com for some more ideas if you want. The site is about the Australian sport of Rugby League, to view some stuff about the game visit: nrl.com

Dimensions: 960 wide 200 high (pixels)
Resolution: 72 dpi

Design: I want the banner to have the words FootyFortressForum (one word, with capital F's). Surrounding this should be an element of each of the 16 teams (say a small jersey or team logo, web 2.0 would be awesome ) The teams and resources can be found at nrl.com. Other then that I'm pretty open to ideas. Don't want it too cluttered or busy.

The competition should run for about a week unless we get something we really like early on. Payment will be via Paypal (if this isnt possible PM me and we might be able to work out something else). If you are wary due to my newb-ness I am willing to give the money in advance to a trusted member of the forum (coolwanz or someone like that?) to put your minds at ease. Just an idea.

I will try to give extensive feedback on all designs submitted.

Awesome entry, started things off great. A few things you could change if possible:

- Change Australian Rugby League to National Rugby League

- Move the Southern Cross over to the right and alter text to say "FootyFortressForum"

- The font is great but could you possibly give us a couple more colour variations? We like the white but if you could try a few more colours over the maroon that would be great.

Other than that its great!

While I can appriciate the amount of time you have put into your design unfortunately the main picture appears to be that of American Football, other then that I wouldn't change anything.

Nice entry! A few things you could change if possible.

- Replace the origin logo (blue one on the right) with the logo of the gold goast titans.

- Change the font to something a little less curvy (I dont really know how to explain this one) but something a little more clean and sharp if you know what I'm saying. Maybe some different colours?

- Also I'm not sure whether this is possible but, although we like the idea of having the players in it, the middle two appear a little fuzzy. Any way of fixing this?

Thanks for taking the time to do an entry for us.

Unfortunatley it is not really the direction we are looking for, but I thought I should explain why.

While the logo's are present, there isn't really anything else related to NRL. Also the fonts and style, although we can apprieciate trying to emphasise the "fortress" part of the name isnt really what we are after.

At the moment we still like zeniusivanisher's entry the most but that could change depending on if the others wanna implement what was said in the feedback.

Also, this is the first competition I have had done for me so if my feedback isn't up to scratch or if you have any suggestions for my end of the deal I would love to hear it.

Where in the world can I find the team logos?! I had a VERY hard time finding the logo at NRL.com & Googled it everywhere. Can you please give me the full link?

 

clever way to copy my exact logo strip and paste it onto yours. that saved you a lot of work i bet, because it was pretty time-consuming for me.

p.s. i overlayed them in photoshop and they're both spot-on. don't attempt to deny it, all you did was add a "web 2.0" mirror to it

i'm glad i saved you work, as well. pretty hypocritical of you to talk about "copyright protection" when you're blatantly ripping from my design
