Two people using this network want to advertise on my site but the url can only be used once. Is there any way around this?
I'm guessing these are affiliate links that they want to advertise? Suggest to both that they use redirects (the tinyurl type, or if they want to set up their own redirect pages). That way, each one uses a different url, but end up at the same end page. For example http://tinyurl.com/2tuhgq takes you to the same place as http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=269411 (That's the link for this thread). There's a list of providers at http://www.econsultant.com/lists/top-10-url-redirection-services.html Hope this helps, otherwise post more details about the requirement.
Yeah I thought about doing that as well and I actually did. In fact I dished money out to get it sooner and so that I didn't have to wait for it to verify. JUST to find out he doesn't want to put it in because it isn't PR4. I can't seem to convince him that his links will be on the same site but the only difference is that we're fooling the system. Any tips on what I can tell him to convince him because I'm losing money from this .
The only thing you could do is split your domain up. So give guy a) yourdomain.com/thisfolder and give guy b) yourdomain.com/thisotherfolder or subdomains, etc etc
