PayPal Cheque for residents of India....how long does it take?

    Hi,
I'm a resident of India. I placed a request with PayPal for a cheque on the 2nd of this month, according to customer support, the cheque was sent on the 6th. I haven't yet received the cheque. How long does it usually take? Does PayPal send cheques by ordinary airmail? Do theey offer any other service like registered/priority post? Is there any other way to withdraw funds for residents of India? Please advice me on this, thank you !!

It usually takes around 2-3 weeks to get the cheque and the cheques are sent by normal post .
No other way to withdraw from paypal as they dont support bank transfer . xoom can be used but it doesnt allow intra-india transactions < but if you have someone abroad then you can try it > ;) :)

Minimum amount one can withdraw from paypal is $150. Maximum amount one can withdraw from paypal is $500 p/m for unverified account. Total withdrawal limit for unverified account is $3000 (lifetime). (I'm talking about indian paypal account)

    Hi,
iam leela from India. If u need want any help for small amounts PP -> INR feel free to contact me. I can give a decent INR exchange rate per $. I can do online transfer by ICICI or HDFC.

I suffered a lot to get my money out 2 years back from PP. As u know our postal service is not reliable i was afraid to get my money back. Anyway i have some online activities i will be needing PP , generally I use CC to fund my PP account instead i can take from people like u..

    Regards,

This service looks cool.. If you made a good transaction with Manju.. I will also think about it.. My transaction is below $150 per month.. I believe it will be helpful for both of us...

    Waiting for Manju's feedback... Goodluck

The minimum is $150 and maximum is 500$ a month (unverified), subject to a total withdrawal limit of 3000$
Add an intl CC and the limits will be lifted

I requested for a cheque from PP on the 14th of Dec and they sent it on the 17th ..
I was expecting in by the end of Dec .. but now, after viewing the posts about the delay and owing to the xmas holidays, i think it'll reach me only by the 1st or 2nd week of Jan .

How did you know that they have sent you a check. What status they are showing in your paypal account: Check Issued or Processing.

lol.. as I was reading the posts one by one I was expecting this answer :p

" sent " is creating confusion . I was like he applied on 14th and recvd on 17th ..LOL .. Using " Check Issued " will be better .

dude .. you need to mail them . They dont take 21 days for processing , Mail them :) :)
