Check processing question

So I decided to contact the customer support hotline and contacted them.
I said I ordered a cheque on the 10th of December and the status has not changed from "Processing" as on today(19 days over) but they say its normal and the status changes only when you receive the cheque and cash it. It double verified the words from the support team man and he said it is normal. So I would like it to verify it with DP members also I hope I will take another 20-30 days to reach

 

I think after 4-6 days status should be check issued if its issued really.

Its still under processing. So I think something wrong.

My check status is Check Issued its more than 20 days now. I am waiting for check.

I have got 4-5 checks from paypal so I think it will arrive here tomorrow or monday.

 

He said its normal and the status will change only when I cash the cheque

 

yes even i requested a cheque on 21 dec and it is still showing my status as
processing.

As far I knows from my experience, Status shows as "Check issued". But I am in same situation as vic_msn and getjimmy. I have requested my cheque on 10th december and still showing status as "Processig"

At PayPal FAQ page there is nothing like "Processig" Status of check withdrawals.

Here is what PayPal FAQ says about this:

But people says some thing different.

After this experience I am seriously thinking about withdrawing money from my paypal account. Its OK for you guys with only 9-10 days over but for me and YIAM more than 20 have passed without any progress.

I had put in a withdrawal request on 10th Dec 2006 and it is still showing "processing".

I have been using PayPal for quite some time now and they take around 5-7 days to issue the check. Then the status automatically changes to "Check Issued". But this time it is still "processing"

I believe that they have NOT issued a check till now. Since there are other users here complaining of the same problem, I suppose there is a major problem with paypal. I understand that this being christmas and new year season but then this is too much of Delay.

I request users to contact their acquaintances in US and find out about it over the phone. Calling from India would be quite expensive and would make follow up difficult.

I will appreciate users taking help of their relatives/ friends in US in calling paypal over phone and finding some help.

yes calling from India is a difficult thing the PayPal robot finds it difficult to detect our language anyhow I managed. I spoke to them for about 6 minutes and it costs Rs45 for that. Also only the account holder should contact via the phone and not any relative.

 

So what did they tell u about cheque processing

 

Oh yes I just saw my paypal status has changed and it is showing completed
Check issued.So i hope i will get it in 20-25 days.

Mine is still showing "processing" which was requested on 10th Dec.

I have requested another withdrawal from paypal personal account (1st one is business account) on 22dec and check is issued on 02 jan.

Now I am worried. Just can't understand whats going on.

 

I am even more worried by this now and I go with the term PayPal Su(K5 .
