Put your link in the title, and trick them by saying, 'I'm tricking you into 'clicking here' because I need moniez... < Wonder if that would work actually...

Usually links go near the end of your article, using the keywords as anchor text, like - you can 'train your dog' easily with... linking the underline, then adding your.com in your resource box, using tricks like you call them (start calling them 'calls to action'). You'll find more great info at http...com thanks for reading.

You can also break up your read so that...

...your main article copy ends like I did above, and the ... ending/beginning will create continuity in your read, almost 'tricking' them into reading your box and sliding them into your click without realizing they just read your article AND your box.

    Cheers.

I'm sure you'd get the click, but not the conversion.

    Nice thread! How about,

"And if you think THAT was cool, >>> click here <<< to get the full scoop!"

Doesn't the whole thing just literally suck you into clicking those >>> <<< ?

And let's face it... who doesn't always want to get the full scoop?

    No words only.

You can add some banners and put your trick words on it.

Offer an incentive -- like a bonus or something "special." :)

If you put the link at the beginning of a sentence it is supposed to do better for some reason. I have tested it and it is true. you don't have to trick them. If they get tricked with the click it gets them on the defensive sometimes.

I dont think trick sentences is necessary.
Because it is not the conversion.

Is kinda not necessary to get people to CLICK as such.. this aint pay per click!! If ur customer is satisfied with the product he WILL buy it no matter how you organize your link

tell people there are free samples, limited availability, limited discounts - create urgency... but only if this is true - i.e. only if the product does offer a free ebook, free tips.. or something...

    I completely agree.

There's a profound point here, which many article marketers, surprisingly, just stay unaware of for ever.

Becoming successful through article marketing isn't about increasing your click-through rate: it's about increasing your number of sales. Many people make the mistake of assuming that doing the first will also necessarily do the second. It isn't always true. Sometimes, even the opposite can be true, as I've been discovering myself.
