Obama can't choose his supporters. Heck, a eunuch serial killer may worship me and follow me. Can't do nothing about it.

As a eunuch serial killer I'd like to point out that personal attacks like this will be reported to the mods in the future. [Besides, those eunuchs I killed had it coming.]

I other breaking news: Apparently the majority of the people on this planet support Obama.

So if you're gonna spend time trying to find crazy people out of a group of, well..... NEARLY EVERYONE, you might be a little busy for a while.

lol was this "news" story actually broadcast?

A new president has just been elected and their story is about a momentary shot of a pop culture symbol, held by an unimportant person, during an unimportant celebration at an unimportant location? The right certainly lack dignity in defeat.

You're welcome to your opinion of course, just seems like a less than gracious generalization given that we dont see significant evidence of that in the posts here. Majority of right wingers in here have been pretty even keeled post-election.

There have been some dignified right wingers, But generally, as an entity, I have seen a lot of undignified behaviour, almost kicking and screaming, Coming from that corner. I mean, Look at phpgators thread where he lists the things he is waiting to "complain on a daily basis" about.

Hmm. Maybe I'm judging it on the fact that it's been downright quiet compared to the shrillness heard after the two prior presidential elections.

Accepting the verdict of the voters is part of our system. In 200+ years we've had peaceful transfer of power without having gunpoint confrontations... not a real common thing in a lotta countries. One sure thing about elections, one side's always gonna lose. Just goes with the territory.

What is the big deal? What do you think should be done other than just move on and ignore it? Should we hunt down that person and yell and them? Should Obama give up the Presidency because someone in a crowd had a commie flag?

Do you think an American who is a communist should not be allowed to express political views? How about a Libertarian?

You do realize that much like you don't like the current two party system and are allowed to vote and think however you want, so are people who may be communists. They are allowed their freedom of thought just like you are.

It could be a talking point, But only a talking point regarding the person waving it. it certainly doesn't deserve the scrutiny it received, Certainly not on the day america elected a new president. There are frankly more important things they should be talking about other than what pop culture symbol a particular obama supporter was allegedly seen waving.

It's just another attempted smear when people take something trivial and then spend time trying to convince people they should be frightened.

It's also worth mentioning that students have claimed the person waving the flag was a member of the conservative group Young America's Foundation. But either way, it's a complete non-issue.

Did i say we should go and hunt down and kill this person? No I left it to the viewers judgment what the conclusion should be made from it. Maybe people should start questioning their blind support for this man on the idea that he will "change".

And the general consensus is that it's a trivial non-issue. Or is that not the independent conclusion you wanted people to make?

sorry i find it a bit humorous that something like this would be quickly dismissed. Y'all might just make the cut for Barack's new "civilian army" he's making :p

Who cares about supporters at this point? His affiliation with terrorists didn't even impact what most people thought of him. At this point, it doesn't really matter what anyone thinks of him... it's a done deal. :)

That's a rather broad statement. While I did not support McCain, I would not go so far as to say all, or even most, of his supporters were blind.
