DP Account Locked Down?? (someone tried to hack my account)

?This is weird i just got an e-mail frm DP saying my account is Locked Down because someone was trying to get on to my account more than 10 times with the wrong password thank god they didnt get access

right now I got a mail from Digitalpoints that someone is trieng to crack my account?

That's not my IP and I didn't try many times to logg in.

Whats going on?

I got one too just now. from a different IP though, heh. I guess it happens from time to time. First time I have received it and I've been here for a bit though. hah. (well... a few months, anyway).

 

I was just wondering the same, and again not the same ip? What's really going on?

Maybe someone is trieng with a tool to flood or to crack accounts?

 

It's probably some dodgy member here. If it is it shouldn't take too much effort for the mods to track down that IP address, although I don't suppose they'll bother.

Edit: Hold on - you've only been here a couple of days. What possible reason could anyone have to want to hack your account? It's easy enough to start a new one.

Seems someone is just using a proxy list trying to guess people's passwords. I'm going to go ahead and change my pass to something more secure, although I doubt I'll be targeted.
