A reputation is used when a useful post, or a post which helps you, is posted. It is a simple system to know who is the most resourceful people on the forum. Rob
Hi there, From what I understand (correct me if I wrong), you can increase your reputation by posted a useful post and by helping to solve forum member problem. If your reputation increase at the same time your credibility also increase. cheers
The reputation green boxes are not always handed out just for being helpful though that's the best way to get them. Sometimes they are given for being funny or being 'wacko'. Credibility goes along with people getting to know you but i-trader points were intended more for the purpose of letting people know you were trustworthy. Unfortunately the i-trader points went a bit skew-wiff thanks to folk asking for them for free stuff and what not.
Yep.. Also should add that in the general forum any rep you take or give doesnt affect your reputation. - It comes up as "grey" rep.
Just make useful contributions, be polite and friendly, don't argue and if anyone needs help try and help them.
Make good posts, and don't do nothing stupid and rep will come. But Itrader is much more important then rep..
No - this is just gaining false rep.... You can't trade for rep dude....... OP don't listen to him. Provide valuable posts and you will earn rep.
Reputation is allow us to give you extra powers in the forum. Quite simply, forum users are allowed to rate on another’s post. Positive rating will increase your reputation, and negative ratings will lower it.The more points, the higher the reputation level, the more respected you are on the forum.
not excatly, when someone gives free stuff gererously, i mean not for reps, people usually give green reps! but then, as rightly pointed out, good posts that helps always get's greens. so try to make some helpful answering, and the reputaion points will come! cheers
Provide help and quality information to others before some one else and you might receive one. I know the irony of this post, I wasn’t fast enough
