Can one leave negative itrader for this case?

I and quite a few other sellers (and buyers) on the bst forums have people who love to come in just to trash the sale in some manner.
These people do not bid, buy, or sell, just go in and trash a thread.

Is is possible to leave negative itrader for these people without getting negative back?

Giving red rep is a bit useless in this case.

Or maybe have some thread where there is a list of these people?

Just wondering as I drink my lemonade here (could not take cold stuff until I got to the dentist this morning).

I don't think unless and until you made a deal with a person you can leave an iTrader rating for him (positive or negative).

I think you are talking about this comment:

    In this thread:

Also, this thread would fit more into S&F forum. :)

dude, i feel your pain. Some people just have nothing to do.
If it is an obvious scam, one should point it out cause there is always newbie who don't know anything.
However, I don't need anyone to tell me the price i set is too high. I set the price because i feel it worth that much. If you don't like the price and don't want to bid, just keep your mouth shut.

You don't go to Gucci and tell ppl that fancy pants doesn't worth 2000 buck, do you?

You don't have to do business with any one to give iTrader rep. Post in the thread and you can give it.

In the itrader page, there is a line - If you did not participate in a deal within this exact thread, your account at this forum will be subject to termination..

Does posting count as participate in a deal

Does the intent of that line mean if you do not participate in the thread (bid for example) that you can be terminated?
Or is the intent such that say I bid for an item, and I win it, but then I back out for any reason?

    Nintendo, smart thinking there!
I noticed that some threads that people who are new have itrader of 0.
Does this mean anyone posting anything in the bst forums automatically have itrader status, whether they buy or not?
If so, then surely negative itrader can be left.

Technically you could do that. But you will permanently loose your Digital Point forum account for doing it, so...

Nope, a transaction would have had to taken place. For non-transactional feedback, you can use the reputation system.

Shawn, if someone do a business thru PM, without posting in the thread,
    such as link sales.
how one can leave iTrader feed back in that case?

You can't. iTrader isn't for private deals.

so it's best not to do business through PM. in my case, i make the other party post in a relevant thread first.
