5star, I know I am weird but if you had given a choice of an affiliate link and a non-affiliate link, I would have clicked on your affy link. As it was you didn´t so I went to look at zzounds by typing it into Google. If it had been interesting for me I would probably have come back and signed up through you anyway. For the sake of everybody else on the other side of the pond, zzounds doesn´t ship out of the US or US territories.
Hi e10, That wasn't an affiliate link. Never even occurred to me someone would think it was. Hmmmmm. Scratches head. I am their consultant so I don't get paid a commission or anything and don't use 2nd tier links. You can see when you click there is no tracking at all. I just like to send people to my review page because it gives a good overview. Here is the direct link to the zZounds program for anyone that prefers it. http://www.zzounds.com/aff
Okay 5star. Sorry about the misunderstanding. Anyway as I said, I am weird about things like that. Good luck to you and ZZ on the programme and ask them when they´ll start shipping overseas.
Hey Tauren, Are you an affiliate? You are reading an affiliate forum and have links in your sig so I assume you are. Why are you afraid to click on something you think is an affiliate link? I'm just really curious about this.
Um.. are you talking to me? If so, because my links are in my sig, sweetie.. er Raider. Not in your face. I only mentioned it because I think there may be others like me and IF it was an affy link you´d get more out of it if you gave an option. I think I was polite? You can at least do me the courtesy of doing the same.
I'm already a member... few complaints: when i view pages of my site using there database and image urls.. 1 out of 5 or so times the image doesn't show up and is replaced with a gray image saying no image is available... they also have their logo on every image which will be confusing to people visiting my site.. other than that.. just waiting for the traffic to pour in
Hi e10 So sorry that you took my tone wrong - I didn't mean it the way you took it AT ALL and did not mean any disrespect at all. I was only asking because I did not understand. That's why I asked "Why are you afraid to click on something you think is an affiliate link? I'm just really curious about this." I could not figure out why you were funny about clicking an affiliate link if you are an affiliate. I thought you were saying you had a thing against clicking any affiliate link and was thinking, wow, I hope her customers don't feel the same way. Now that you've explained what you meant about offering an option for a direct link, IF it was an affiliate link I totally get what you mean. Sorry I was dense, just didn't understand what you meant. Most forums don't allow affiliate links and I would never post an affiliate link in a forum - so that's why I didn't understand what you meant when you said offer a choice. Now it all makes sense. Please no hard feelings, I was not upset and certainly never meant to be impolite.
No worries 5star It was you calling me Tauren that got my back up. e10 or Julie, Jools or Shorty would all have been fine. Good luck with the programme.
e10 or Julie, Jools or Shorty, How silly of me. I post here a lot but didn't realize how the sub-names or whatever they are called work. I never noticed them before and thought Tauren was your real name. I wondered why the heck you were calling me "Raider" Now I see! Is this a new naming system? I could swear it was different before. Hi yo-yo, Sorry I didn't reply to your post before. Have you contacted Mike, the affiliate manager about these issues? He's the one in-house that can fix or correct it. It's important that feeds work right for affiliates and your opinion counts! If you don't have his direct email, by chance, please PM me and I will give it to you. Thanks!
