ZWebmasters.com Scripts Subscription Site - HUGE scam

    Hi,

Today I purchased a 1 month subscription for ZWebmasters.com for a whole $39! Their content seems pretty good for $39 and they say that when I subscribe I have the rights to sell it. I was thinking about a site I could set up to sell their scripts and how I could advertise them here and make a nice bit of cash.

    BUT NO!

Their site just sells software avaliable FREE on the internet! FREE! I have paid $39 for something that I could get for FREE!

Their 'Social Files' software turned out to be 'Pligg' - A FREE social networking CMS. And their clone of the milliondollarhomepage.com turned out to be 'GPix' - more FREE software!

Naturally I have sent them an email, but they have a 'no-refunds' policy. What an absolute scam. Shocking. A waste of $39.

    Don't subscribe.

They're released under that license whereby people are allowed to charge for it. Is it the GPL license or something?

Sorry for the angry post, just thought it would be good if I could save someone else $39!

alot of people/companies are selling free scripts like boonx, popscripts, zeescripts, astrascripts, spftbizacripts. People make a few changes and create or modify the templates..add or delete features then attach their name and copy right. lol everyone' s a copy cat, a scam...lol

they call themselves creators and programmers. they are just copy cats. I mean is it really a scam? you wanted to buy this stuff to resell it, it is possible that you had planned to sell it for more that what you paid for it... would that be considered a scam too?

@BlaqHQ - I had planned to sell it on for less than I'd paid for, just in large quantities, so to the individual consumer it was a bargain, but it would all add up at profit for me :p not really a scam ;)

Ah well, the money's gone now: c'est la vie!
