Is it gonna be any match for the iTouch/Pod? I'm holding off to upgrade since the jury still seems to be out.
ZUNE IS SO AWESOME. That orgasm out of the way, here's the true skinny. Zune HD comes in 16 and 32 GB, My Zune 2nd Gen has 120 GB...I'm not amused at ALL by this bullshit move, one taken directly from Apple. I'd slap myself if I got a new ipod/touch/nano now, ESPECIALLY if there was no camera because you just freaking know that after the release a few months (if even that long) down the line, a camera will magically be added...And you'll be buying yet another device. Zune HD looks promising as hell, but like the Palm Pre 1st Gen, you'd be a scrub to get it on release. I'm sticking with my regular Zune until firmware updates or the next one comes out. It is very exciting, but too much of a hype gimmick like the iTouch upon release. (Oh look, it's like an iphone, but instead of having the ability to make calls as a native function, you have the easiest access to the app store! Their words, not mine).
