MFA sites are a problem. People see the ads there as worthless, making them less likely to click google ads in the future...
and don't forget it also messes up the whole bidding proccess for adwords users. and most importantly for gooogle is that folks are ending up getting crappy search results and sent to sites that have no relevant, unique or useful information.
I think your right it was a glich... when you do site:www.zorg-links.com it does show 92 indexed And his article site catagory feed was cached on Sept 8th Granted some DCs will show different results so... just have to wait a few days
The most confusing thing if this is JUST A GLITCH just as everyone says. Sorry Malcolm as I have to use Sleek as an example. How is it that the sites that are in limbo now get cached while those sites that are not get This Cached and This Cached and This Cached. While the main This Cached is recent. Are the bots going cold that the span of time is too wide ? I am confused
I am not sure what you are trying to say popo? What are you talking about, cache dates? You mean zorg is cached less oftern or at a past date (Sept. 7)?
I had a domain that was pr3 for 2 years and never ranked in the top 10 at google for domain realted searches. I setup phpld a few days ago and the domain now shows on page 2. there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason sometimes.
I don't know Jay. You tell me since your the Smart One. Zorg Computers Category but this Shows Zorg Computers Category.
Ah, you are saying inner pages are not indexed. Well since the whole site was gone from the index for a few days maybe the goooglie bots need to dig in and report back?
Ok. I now I would use an example of a FALSE ALARM. This site was cached on Sept 8 while This was cached on August 8 but this was on Sept 3 This on Aug 22 Is this normal ? While other sites are in limbo battling it out do you think its a glitch ?
I don't know what to tell you popo, I like you and I like the fact that you speak your mind but as far as this whole gooogle conspiracy theory goes I think you are a little overzealous to condemn the entire industry to the underworld. In another of your posts you stated that if the SERP's come back the directory industry is doomed anyways....so you have effectively taken both sides of the debate and have drawn the exact same conclusion regardless of what is really going on. I think we have to wait and one of us will be right and one of us will be wrong...it is as simple as that. Even though I see a lot of problems in the directory industry and sometimes the butt kissers drive me crazy too, I think there are some really great people involved and it has been a fun ride and I don't think it will end soon. Good directories (and I don't only mean the really big, huge promoted ones) have something to offer and just like small blogs are still relevant in the face of huge world-wide news agencies, they will go on and change and develop into something better and more important. I don't believe google will rule the world and I don't think they have an interest in crushing the directory industry, as I have said many times before...they have much bigger more dangerous prey to hunt in the form of MFA sites. There may be 5k bad directories that should be gone from the web but there are 500k MFA sites bogging down gooogle, their search results and their adwords/adsense business.
I used to like you but lately you talk total rubbish, what the hell is up with you? Seems to me like you are loving all this crap that’s going on. You talk about people being bullies yet most of your posts sound arrogant.
What Google is doing for those web directories makes me nervous in a way, but bid directories (many) are promoted with keywords that only those who know about bid directories. So I don't see any negative impact even if they lose a good position in the SERP. Many still buy for PR anyway as long as Google continues to use it.
after reading what happened to zorg-links i decided to write a quick blog about it. check it out here make sure you do not have any food in your mouth i said some pretty funny stuff in here!. feel free to comment as no follow is turned off.
Yeah Mikey with that kind of promotion I think that you are right Hi Brian, I think those big bids are only for traffic.
It's reindexed here. http://www.google.com/search?q=site...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
So what do you guys think if ooo i dunno, lets say, Alive Directory was de-indexed, would all those people who paid for links be refunded?
