Wow, that is so cool, but how do you do it? I have an older version of Camtasia, I don't see how to do it. Does anyone know what function it's called and what version it is available in? Basically, when you are recording your screen, wherever the mouse is, it zooms on that area, then zooms out again to the larger screen. Must be a button you push? Thanks!
I'm not sure if this is a feature in Camtasia, I heard about functionality like this in Screenflow for the mac though. I'm sure any good video editor would allow you to do this, regardless of what the original video was recorded in - so that's one sure-fire way to do it that wouldn't require the current Camtasia. Hope this helps, and I hope that somebody more knowledgeable with Camtasia can zip in here and save you with with a better solution!
hye, currently what version of Camtasia that you used?4 or 5? I'm using Camtasia 4 right now and before,I have the same problem like yours but now I have a solution for that If you look at the top panel of the screen, try to search the hotkeys menu..then take a look at that menu..then click at the Advanced Option.. You can easily set up you own hotkeys for zoom in,zoom out, panning, and everything else.. and..before you start recording, select a rectangular area for screen recording.not a full screen..that's will help you..hope so..lol. I hope that's help.. this is a good video for you if you still blur about that.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CoWxrsSm78
