Zombies Made me become agnostic

Man after battling with my Christian beliefs and the amount of contradiction there are in their beliefs. E.g. God is loving but still lets so much suffering in the world exist, or that he created himself (WTF?). Something has never really felt right about Christianity. . The final straw was when Jehovah's witnesses came over to my house and had an interesting conversation with mom who is a Christian.

They also revealed instead of people dying and going to heaven, they rose up later from the dead, to be judge or something. I learnt that this was what people meant when they talked about the rapture. Wait those are freaking ZOMBIES! That was the final straw and I said "Screw it I'm finding it difficult to believe all this bull straight up". I'm now agnostic because I believe that there is a great power in the universe even if it is just everything being connected together, however this has become distorted over time due to mans interference/ selfishness/ego.

Do you guys believe that there will be Zombies running around one day. Should I start stockpiling for them?

 

I also have similar questions that have been unanswered. But I dare not call myself an agnostic. Why take a chance?

 

Well Jehovahs witnesses do have a tendecy to be a tad bit more \"weird\" and extreme. I hope you can find a religion that is better suited for you.

 

Why is it so difficult for people to resolve to believe in a God who wants man-kind to make their own choices? Why do so many feel that if there is a God, he absolutely has to be a socialistic communist?!

Love, respect or just about any positive human emotion is essentially worthless if it is forced out of someone. Why would God feel any different?

Man, I never though a zombie apocalypse would even be possible. If it does happen it would be scary as heck.

I'd rather be true to myself, even if I am totally dead wrong, then try to force myself to believe something out of fear.....

Oh, and as far as the zombie invasion it's an interesting concept. I'm a huge fan of zombie movies and my boyfriend and I jokingly discuss what we would do if a zombie invasion happened. I think we would end up taking over a Costco (bulk warehouse) because the ones we have down here have very thick walls, huge metal doors, and tons of food....

Oh, some of you are scared of zombies??? lol, you watch too many of those propaganda movies where the zombies kill lots of people. Man, you can cut them up with a plastic butter knife and it really freaks them out to eat the brains of a zombie in front of other zombies, or eat their brains out after removing their arms and legs.

Jesus died and then rose up 3 days later. Doesn't that make him a zombie? And if it does, doesn't that make Christianity a zombie-based religion?

But in islam, we also believe that after Armageddon, where every living things (including animals, Satan's and angels) died, we human will be rise again from the death to be judge. Every human, since Adam will be judge.

I think jews, christians also believe the same thing.

I think God have a very big log files of all of us based on mySQL database, where on the judgement day he will use it as evidents for all our sins (and good deeds).

 

I would encourage you not to listen to what others say. Read the bible for yourself and then base your opinion on that. Too many christians want to make christiantiy hard... it really is not that difficult or confusing. If I had to recommend a place to start, it would definitely be the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John)... read that before reading Revelation.

If this is true I can't wait for the rapture - THIS IS GOING TO KICK ASS.

Hopefully they will be slow zombies and not zombies like in the Dawn of the Dead where they run like BOLT.

Anyway, instead of discussing whether or not this is real let's just presume it will be and change the topic of this thread to "HOW TO KILL A ZOMBIE"

Squirt guns with holy water, that would be awesome.

Maybe I should just start buying guns and lots of ammo.

the problem is, there are tooooo many of them. no matter how much you kill.... or destroyed... they will be come for more and more.
soon you will be the only human leave in a town full of zombies.
a single bullet in your head, will do it. quickly and less painful (not yet tried it yet ).

I love zombie movies. I have collected many of them. but I'm not sure if there really are zombie around what should I do or go though.
