What do you think guys? It sounds good on paper but all this 3rd party server integration worries me a bit. Also its hard to believe that these guys coded everything, bought all the servers and hired a team of engineers just to...

This is either going to be the biggest scam or the greatest forum network.

 

I post on TAZ as GardenHelper - I think it has serious privacy implications - especially as being implemented without changes to the Privacy Policy over at TAZ.

I think the rush to market overshadowed some serious questions that should have been asked before they implemented the program.

I do, however, think it is a welcome concept - anything to bring forums and forum software and management into social networking is a worthy experiment.

 

They now advertise it on DP top right corner... hmmmm...

I was unimpressed when I saw it.

 

I read the whole about page. It says absolutly nothing. But I did assertain there will be some kind of profit. I did not find out what it will do for a member however.

Considering their biased past, I can't see how they can run an objective open community. They already play GOD with members, now people will put their websites in their hands?

That does not sound like a thing to do IMO.

 

Big forums will end up sharing their huge userbase with a 3rd party, small forums will end up losing members to larger forums. Thats my prediction.

 

You get adsense profit from profiles that your users create on Zoints. This is quite pointless because you can just make money from your own users on your own server.
