Woo Hoo, just got my net back up and can now actually work!! Anyway, was updating two other sites codes and links for new theme options etc and noted the weights on two sites keeps dropping to 0 (zero) and I have to revalidate. How often does this happen and does the system automatically attempt to revalidate code? (can't think of any server issues as they are monitored and I know of only one 3 hour downtime on christmas day to fix some problems) The 0 validation has occured several time after that. Do I have to check the weight every day as I haven't made any changes to any of the sites until yesterday when I updated some information and the code is present on all pages. Sometimes the Google API (used to determine the number of pages your site shows ads on) returns 0 pages for a site. At the end of the December it was happening alot. It cleared up alittle, but I do notice it every now and then. If you pass validation but receive a 0 weight, that can sometimes be the problem. Really the only solution is to log in and check your weight daily. (I guess Shawn could ad to the validation code that if your weight drops to 0 you get an email)
Bah humbug. Figures. Didn't think about the API code. If you wear it out checking ranks or your site search runs on it...ummm....hehehe....might explain the zero's.... Well chitterru.... Maybe that automated notice would be a good thingy! Cheers
