So about a week ago now, i created a blog on Weebly.com about spyware. Used my keywords alot, and submitted it to ALOT of directorys, posted it on blogs, and social book marked it. After the first day it was up, i had about 20 visits total, and thought to my self that that wasnt too bad, but since then, i've been getting 0 visits a day for the last 5 days. What am i doing wrong !?!

    Hi,

IMO, I think you should create more content - especially original ones - to attract visitors. A one page blog is not particularly interesting for Web surfers.

    Cheers!

I second noobpreneur - welcome to the idea of linkbaiting. You need to have lots of compelling and original content if you want to magically attract site visitors.

Add more content, and give it some more time. If in 6 months you still aren't getting visitors then you should start worrying.

Refresh your content frequently and start link building, don't despair organic traffic won't come overnight.

1.get rid of "- home" in your titletag

2.you need wayy more content, there not much UNIQUE and HELPFUL information there, remember content is king, would you bookmark that page? Sorry if I am overly critical, I just want to help.

3."what is spyware" is a very very competitive term, your gonna need way more backlinks from top ranking spyware related sites

4.get your own domain name preferably with spyware in it if thats what the site will be about, you may want to make the site about other stuff though and instead create a brandname of sorta

    hope this helps,
    ninja

Yes you are right. Users have already read the post. So new post will attract the visitors.

For me, think and write something new about the content of your article so as to attract more visitors to come in to your site but if you can't, you can hire some professional content writers in several outsourcing companies. Here are some good ways to drive targeted traffic.

    1. You keep on changing the content - have some originality, make your own and keep updated with the latest facts that has to do with your website.
    2. Do link building - do links with others that you think have the same categories.
    3. Social book marking and article submissions - this is also the best way to maintain search engine rankings or even higher.
