Zero earnings from Adsense Search

It has been a month and nobody has tried to use my Google CSE, in effect, I have not been earning from them. Any of you guys can offer some advise? Is it the location or what? How can I encourage (not direct which is against adsense TOS) users to use it?

don't focus on search as it doesn't yield much for most.
a well placed link unit will do much better.

i haven't had a click on my search in the 2 months and it would be better if you have a link unit that is really in a good spot as Zodiac suggested.

    Thanks

A okay. I was just bothered. I thought I was the only one experiencing zero queries through Google search.

Yep. Adsense for search doesn't contribute much on daily earning, but still worth to keep it.

contrary to what alot of people have said on here I get pretty good results, I have it placed directly at the top of my page before anything else and it's crucial to have it blend into your site when people click to search, Mine looks exactly like my site, colours, background, clicked link colours etc and you can fine tune it in the setup to show the most relevant results

I dont encourage it but occasionaly at the end of some of my posts I've said to find out more search at the top of the page, I DO MEAN OCCASIONALLY especially when I've written about things I have less knowledge about

I'm pretty sure you only get paid if some clicks the sponsored links too, the organic sites that come up after the sponsored links, you get nothing for

Search only works good when you have good traffic and returning visitors. on one of my busy sites, the search box gets 1000+ searches per day, but earns only $8-$10.

On my smaller blogs that target search engine traffic, they almost NEVER get search and so they dont make anything with adsense for search.

There are ways that you can subconsciously encourage your visitors to search without telling them to - definitely within TOS and etc. But, in my experience, very few sites make a great deal of money from Adsense search - about 3% of my adsense earnings are from the custom search unit. There are some days when I have quite a few $0.00 clicks on search - it happens to all of us, for some reason.

Search bar is not better working as adsense link units, by the way try to put your google search bar on the header section instead of middle or bottom

I think Google search is no longer effective now,and I think this service is no more available to generate high traffic now
