Zero conversion in display campaign - mobile apps

    I'm running a display campaign in mobile apps only. I'm advertising a mobile web app for iOS.

    The operating system/device targeting is ok, I'm testing new ad content constantly, as for placement I manually chose relevant apps because the random ones or appstore categories did not work. I'm having great CTR (about 3%), but for some reason no conversions.

    Have you got any ideas why it is so? What may be the cause of the problem? I'd be grateful for all kinds of tips/hints/ideas.Please let me know if I need to provide more you with more info about the campaigns.

    First of all, I think you could check your conversion tracking (SDK installed in IOS). Is it working correctly?

    Then, of course your got a relatively high CTR - 3%, while I suggest you may try to target a bit wide app placement, such as a certain app store category related to your app with a low bid.

    Last, you might try add more text ads or image ads to see results.

    Hi,
    thanks a lot for your reply. As for conversions, I'm not using conversion tracker but my own tracking system in my company's database, which is pretty accurate.
    I already tried targeting various categories in AppStore and that option was not converting either, but I might explore that a bit more.
    I'll also try with more text and image ads, but I'm still pretty sure my problem is the placement.
    And maybe you have got some tips for using the placement tool?
    It seems like with multi-word keywords it gives plenty of irrelevant results.
