Zero backlinks for my site?

    Hi!

    I am new to this keyword tracker, and don't understand something:

    When I type my website url into "Add New URL For Back Link Monitoring"
    with the "track back links" tab down, I get zero backlinks.

    Why is this? I have my url in several directories (link exchange), as well as in several forums.

    If someone could explain this to me, I'd really appreciate it........ :)

    I took off the http://

    but it says now I have one backlink - however, I have several links in link exchanges, forums, directories.

    So the part I do not understand is why is it only saying I have one back link?

    The backlink tracker is nothing more than a reporting mechanism. It will only report what Google tells it.
