my website is 3 months old, have arround 500 pages,i get daily 300+ unique visitors mostly from google + few from bookmarks. My problem is i get 500 imp on my adsense but still i get only 1 or 2 clicks i have tried almost all good tempalates ad positions and all. my question is.. since am new to adsense,is their a case that you start getting adsense clicks when google sends a particular kind of traffic to your site, like when site gets old(mine is 3 months) or when you get high traffic like 1000+ ad impressions guys you all are old players,so please help me from what you learned from your experience,i am so much demotivated, whenever i look into my adsense 500 imp but 1 or 2 click...
It's all about placement of the ads - place your ads where you feel traffic will look first and blend the ads in
but i have done all that.does that mean i cant earn from adsense despite of traffic increasing day by day, people read and go,i have even placed ads below header, inside the post, and at the end of the post...but no good results, if you know abt any tempalate for long posts do suggest.... i have long posts is that the reason for low ctr???
Where have you placed your ads? ctr depends highly on ads placement.. It will be good if you show us the url of your site?
2 column tempalate 63% / 35% left column =63%=main content right column = 35% = site archive=>long list of links=image ad on top ******left column*********** google search post title 1 **add unit 336*330*** post content sdxscxsds sdsdsdsdsdsdsdsds sssssssssssssssss **ad unit in middle 336*200*330** dfddfdfdtsfssdfsf sdssdssdsdsdsdds sddssdsdsdddsds post content ends related posts **adsense ver link unit ** website links - - - - google search footer.
Place ads carefully and try to get traffic from Search engines. Build backlinks and PR and then you would see the change in your CTR. wish you all the best.
You should also make sure that your site isn't too cluttered. If there's too much going on, people's eyes wander all over the page. Keep it simple. Make sure your ads can be seen.
Consider yourself as an visitor and think where would your eye go first on the site, place adds there
