Those who have taken authority as the truth rather than truth as the authority" It's long, short attention span individuals needn't watch it, for you really need to watch this in whole (over 2 hours long documentary). A few of you no doubt have seen this already and will immediately have recognised the name - Zeitgeist. Beginning is a little slow, persevere with it, starts livening up around 13mins, although it pays to really listen to the introduction. I'd be interested to hear from others who either have watched the whole movie documentary, what your thoughts and feelings are about any aspects of this 'film'. Not expecting many replies to be honest, most people these days usually consider something 'boring' if it exceeds 8-10 minutes, but I'm guessing from one or two, a few at least, this might spark up quite a good discussion - we'll see. good movie, i wish they'd take some of the lies and errors out though, would make it more legit. Besides the religion part I was already in touch with the message, it's especially good for people who have no idea what's going on. And if you don't have the attention span for that? Then you are polluting the gene pool.
There were a few quotes about more extreme plots that I couldn't substantiate. A lot of those phrases only exist on the internet in places that are citing Zeitgeist so I might have to (shudder) go to a library to prove the validity. About Christianity & sun worship, a lot of that was also covered in Thomas Paine's "Common Sense" but I do get a crack up out of showing it to the faithful. Does that make me evil?? Maybe a little...
