    Hi folks,
It's been over a month since I've had a release, but I have good news for the timid who weren't sure on how to install ZB Block.

I have added the long awaited installer in version 0.3.0 Beta! All one has to do now is unzip ZB Block to the root of their public html directory (it will place itself in http://yoursite.tld/zbblock/ ) and then you go to http://yoursite.tld/zbblock/setup.php, and the rest is pretty self explanitory.

One only then need add the "hook" (which is provided at the end of the install) to the top of their php pages to get it to work.

My GF, who is not even a webmaster, nor more than a casual user was able to use the installer without help, and get it to work on a test page!

What is ZB Block? ZB Block is like a virus sheild and a pseudo-firewall for your .php website. It intercepts connections, and checks them for hacks, spam, scripts, remote file includes, MySQL exploits, or connections coming from known bad internet addresses. Every PHP page it is "hooked" on, will be protected from many millions of bad IPs and Hosts... plus a variety of spamming, hackers scripts, and other nefarious things.

Total execution time, on an old PIII 930MHz server is under 1/10th of a second (untimeable), so it will not slow down your web pages at all.

It also logs blocks to an easy to read file, /zbblock/killed_log.txt , so you can see what it has done for you, and check to make sure no innocents are being caught (under 1/100th of 1% have been accidentally caught, and half of them for a mistake they fixed themselves.)

ZB Block is freeware under the GPL V.2 . You can get your own copy of it, and judge it's performance for yourself (log file displayed) at http://www.spambotsecurity.com/zbblock.php

    Thanks for your time,
    Zaphod. :)

P.S. I find it hillarious that I would need to make 10 spammy posts just to share an anti-spam solution with live links. Cut and paste folks. I'd rather just make a singular, meaningful one.
