How many VPS's do you put per server?

 

There is no set amount of what we put on a server as it depends on how many of certain packages are going to be sold.
We don’t oversell RAM though meaning that there is normally about 5-6 VPS’s per Server.

 

So you get Quad Cores with 8 GB Ram for $48 USD monthly ? If that is the case, please PM me the url for this location.

 

If we had 4 2GB VPS customers that would be $160, Sorry but I don't see where your getting $48 from?

Selling the micro package we will put more on a server, its only using 256mb RAM, so we can fit alot more of them on, which will cover the server costs.
Currently most of our customers have the 1GB or 2GB package therefore there is normally about 5-6 VPS's per server.

 

I understand that you take the biggest VPS to get the lowest number of VPS's per server to impress... If you only host VPS's on the first package, how many of them do you put on each server?

 

We would estimate a max of 22 if they were all 256mb Plans to cover server costs. Although I don’t think this would ever happen as we hardly ever sell the 256mb plan, most people go for the Big Packages 1GB or 2GB.
Also just a note, Xen Servers will also be coming soon.

Is there a testing IP? Where is the server located? Any restrictions on what can be stored (warez hosting eats the bandwith so it's hard to have a non-warez related vps sharing the physical hardware and the network's switch port with one)? I know setup's take arount 1-48hrs, but what's the avarage setup time for the micro and mini plans? How long do you run these VPS services?

Sorry for all the questions, but you caught my eye on these services.

VPS servers have now been running for just over 3 months, we have been doing shared hosting business for a few years now.
Setup Time depends on the amount of orders and how much space we have on the servers; generally we say 1-48 as that gives us time to get a new server if needed due to a flood of orders. At the moment I would expect your VPS to be online within an Hour.
Also you next payment is due a month from when the server was handed over not when you first paid.
We don’t allow warez hosting or anything illegal as the server is located in the USA, anything else is fine. We monitor all VPS hosts to ensure high bandwidth users will not affect the other servers, and upgrading the connection if required.

 

So if by anymeans i wanted to install an iroffer IRC bot to distribute non-licensed material in my country it would be acceptable, as far as i wouldn't overload the server bandwidth (let's say i would use around 2mb/s topwise)?

 

I will contact the DataCenter to make sure and get back to you as I am not 100% sure.
As any complaints from them would result in the VPS comming offline.
