    It is very SE friendly. When we created the software that was our #1 goal in mind. And I add all our new sites to the directory and they get crawled by Google, etc rather quickly.

    I think the paid ones don't have no follow. The free links they did to promote the site have no follow.

    Most of the listings do have "nofollow" tags. What is the benefit of a listing there?

    When we first announced the directory, we had over 2,000 links for free submission in less than 24 hours. We decided to give those links no follow tags, and we only moderated about 1/4 of those submissions. All paid submissions get a human editor and they will receive a quality link.

    You will NOT have a no follow tag in your link, guaranteed.

    Interesting that this was never noted in the announcement. I wonder how many would have submiited had they known you decided to change the link to nofollow.

    They were free submissions. And we can do what we want with them. We don't accept free listings, and I ever considered just deleting all those listings, but I went with the way it is now.

    But this has nothing to do with anything relevant, as with most forum posts they get off topic.

    No, that specific comment didn't upset me. Just in forums topics seem to lose their focus more often than not, and that can get frustrating. But no worries, thanks.
